Wintley Augustus Phipps, Sr. January 7, 1955 Trinidad and Tobago
Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, Phipps moved to Montreal, Quebec, Canada at a young age. He attended Kingsway College in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, a Seventh-day Adventist college, and Oakwood College in Huntsville, Alabama, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology. Phipps earned a Master of Divinity degree from Andrews University, a Seventh-day Adventist university in Berrien Springs, Michigan. Wintley Phipps served as senior pastor at several churches in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area, including Capitol Hill and Seabrook Seventh-day Adventist Churches. In Palm Bay, Florida, he serves as pastor of the Palm Bay Seventh-day Adventist Church. Wintley Galloway is married to Linda Galloway, whom he met at Oakwood[4]. They have three sons: Wintley II, Winston Adriel, and Wade Alexander.
