Protoje, is a contemporary reggae singer and songwriter from Jamaica. His mother is Jamaican singer Lorna Bennett, best known for her 1972 rendition of “Breakfast in Bed. His father, Mike Ollivierre, is a calypsonian and athletics coach from St Vincent who goes by the stage name Lord Have Mercy. Protoje first burst onto the music scene with the single Arguments, and has used the traction from that song to build the beginnings of a successful global career. His acclaimed debut album 7 Year Itch was his first successful album. He follow-up his best album with the 8 Year Affair. Years later he was able to finish what people are all his best project.
