Nailah Blackman, Born: December 2, 1997. Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.

Despite her strong association with the soca genre, Nailah is primarily known for her singing and composing. As a means of reinvigorating calypso music, Garfield Blackman, Nailah Blackman’s grandfather, invented the style of music known as jamoo and is also credited with inventing soca. Nailah’s mother, Abbi Blackman, is a hit-making calypso star in her own right, and she is the niece of Avion Blackman and Nehilet Blackman. etc
