Reanno Devon Gordon, January 24 1979,  Saint Ann Parish, Jamaica

During my time living in Tivoli Gardens, Papine, and Spanish Town in West and East Kingston. He attended Brown’s Town Comprehensive High School in the past. In 2005, Busy Signal released his debut single, “Step Out,” which made him one of the leading artists in the contemporary dancehall movement. A music video for “Step Out” was released shortly afterwards.

His friends nicknamed him Busy Signal because he was always busy. A number of his hit tracks, including “Nah Go A Jail Again”, “Smoke Some High Grade”, “Tic Toc” and “Unknown Number”, have received tremendous airplay and dancehall reviews, especially in the Caribbean and the United States. Step Out is his hit dancehall album.
